Traumfabrik: The 2nd 6punkt6.de short film festival has started

True to the motto “Traumfabrik” (dream factory) and inspired by love, lust and passion the second online short film festival has started at www.6punkt6.de. This year the 6.6 team is hoping for both original films of ambitious amateur film makers and promising submissions of film students. In addition to the 6.6-Award which is endowed with € 1,000, the winning film maker will receive an invitation to the “Flensburg Short Film Festival & tricky“, during which his/her film will be presented in front of a big audience, and the respective trip to Germany’s northernmost city. The closing date for submissions is 15 September 2010. The online audience will pick the 6.6 Short Film 2010 in a final vote in the autumn of 2010.

The Flensburg based erotic company ORION, which initiated the online competition on 6punkt6.de and also supports a great many of cultural, social and sporting events in the city on the Flensburg fjord, continues its successful cooperation with the regional Flensburg Short Film Festival & tricky. This takes places for the 10th time from 10 - 13 November 2010 in the "51Stufen" theatre in Flensburg. Last year, the special programme “Erotik”, during which 6.6 competition entries were screened, as well, filled the theatre “51Stufen” to capacity. Also in 2010 the festival team plans another special programme with erotic short films.

Since the spring of 2009, 6punkt6.de – the erotic internet short film festival – is online. The tongue-in-cheek name alludes both to the length of the short films (6.6 minutes) and the erotic company ORION itself, who started this online festival. At 6punkt6.de artists can enter their films in the online competition in order to win the favour of the online audience who will pick the 6.6 Short Film 2010. What is more, all submissions will be also taken into consideration for the competition and special program of the Flensburg Short Film Festival by an impartial expert jury.

Flensburg Short Film Festival & tricky at a glance

Since 2000, the Flensburg Short Film Festival & tricky has been a well-established cultural event in Germany’s northernmost city. Fascinating film projects und competitions concerning different topics are arranged into a top-class program. Also in this year several hundred German, Austrian and Swiss short films will be submitted.
