We just missed out on the trophy but we still made an impact: ORION’s “Einführungsangebot” stands out at the BEST 18/1 final in Cologne
Flensburg/Cologne, September 2025 – ORION caused a stir with its charmingly provocative design “Unser Einführungsangebot” (Our introductory/insertion offer – a German title with an erotic connotation) at this year’s BEST 18/1 Award finals in Cologne and won second place – just a single vote separated second place from first place.
The poster, designed by the creative agency Trickster, deliberately used irony, provocation and plain language to spark a debate about creative freedom, visibility and digital censorship. There were 150 submissions in total and the jury selected our design to be in the top 10. The grand finale was then decided by the audience via live voting.
Around 1,000 guests from the advertising and creative industries celebrated an evening full of inspiration, energy and creative spark. The competition is now in its 19th year and is considered Germany’s most prestigious poster award. The competition also effectively demonstrates how powerful traditional outdoor advertising still is.
